Laura will facilitate a validating, supportive, and non-judgemental therapeutic environment and offer empathy, and understanding to her clients that allows for self acceptance and at the same time, challenges one to push their boundaries.
Her professional experience includes working with children and adolescents from ages 6 to 18 years old who have struggled with anxiety, focus, bipolar, depression, Autism, social obstacles, as well as teens in the LGBTQ+ community who want support. She also enjoys working aside adults and the elderly who struggle with schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, and anxiety and helping them live a life they feel good about. In addition to using a CBT model, she has a background in DBT and enjoys utilizing it to help children, adolescents, and adults learn skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness.

She enjoys using alternative forms of therapy (such as drawing/painting, creative writing, or using songs to help express an emotion, etc.) alongside classic methods to accommodate her clients therapeutic needs and comfort with self expression. She would like to help you or your child achieve your goals such as making and keeping friends in the community, overcoming barriers to building positive self esteem, overcoming negative thoughts, and managing overwhelming emotions.
